First Day of Life

Chillin' out.

David meets his new baby brother. He was interested for about 15 seconds then went on his way exploring the hospital room. His world is about to turn upside down and he doesn't even know it!

Baby Brendan and Grandma Bowman.

Can't forget my other pride and joy! Can't wait to go home and have both my boys together!

McDonalds coffee is delicious. Especially early in the morning while waiting for your son or daughter to be born.

nothing yet

that is all.

More random pre-baby photos for your enjoyment

Our nurse for the morning is Lisa. The doctor has three women in delivery this morning, and he is betting on Amy to "finish with the silver" as the second baby of the day.

For those of you who have never seen a Petosin drip (oh boy isn't this exciting!?!) here it is. Speechless aren't you? You're amazed. This is the most amazing, impactful photo you've ever seen. Don't worry, you can thank me later.
Baby's heart rate on the far left. Mom's blood pressure and heart rate on the right. Again, you're amazed. Your life is now complete for having seen this. This is waaaaaaay more exciting than Monday Night Football, I know.

Random pre-baby photo montage

It was an eaaaarrrrrrly morning...
The full pre-baby setup. The Petosin drip started promptly at 5:00 a.m. Oi!!!
She's putting on a brave face. But the Petosin contractions are nasty already.
See that spike on the bottom right hand side of the monitor? Yeah, that's a contraction happening. Not fun.
