4:00 comes early when it's baby day!

4:00 a.m. is earlier than I care to wake up. it's early. I don't know if those of you out there have ever actually seen 4:00 a.m. (other than when you've been awake until 4:00 on certain Saturday nights in college) but I can tell you that it is dark and meant for sleeping. As my dear friend Maria Moser pointed out at Georgetown a few years ago, "2:00-6:00 a.m. are the hours of faith. I have faith that they exist, but I would rather not ever actually see those hours to confirm that existence." that's all I've got. the baby preparations are underway.
